John H. Taylor

Chairman & Founder

John has over 30 years of experience serving as a senior executive or president for numerous companies where he successfully executed financial and operational turnarounds and significantly improved company performance. John has an extensive background in executive leadership, strategic development, capital structuring/raises, financial and corporate restructuring and merger and acquisition advisory. He has also served as managing partner for Hilltop Investments, an investment firm formed to acquire real estate, private companies, public stock and market derivatives through highly specialized strategies to maximize profits. John’s extensive financial expertise has improved growth and performance initiatives for companies in industries ranging from technology and telecom, banking/financial services, to retail and wholesale distribution. John also has been a shareholder in several boutique investment banking firms.

Prior to founding Win Capital Group, John was president and executive consultant for TCM Inc., a firm providing corporate restructuring, turnarounds, strategic development, financing, merger/acquisition advisory and implementation services. He has experience in the following industry sectors: technology, real estate, retail, manufacturing, banking, and investment management. In his role at TCM Inc., John provided financial restructuring services to underperforming companies. He has also served as a restructuring executive for two international Fortune 100 companies. In both cases, John performed an analysis of operations, finance, and sales issues and subsequently proposed and implemented new internal strategic, operational, and management structures. These structural changes resulted in increased profitability, revenue and efficiency of overall company operations yielding significant valuation increases.


Inderbir “Indy” Bal

Senior Analyst

Indy is an experienced analyst with strong analytical skills and curiosity toward learning how to create value among privately-held companies. Affinity toward valuation and financial modeling with diverse industry and engagement exposure.

Indy’s professional experience includes working as a Senior Analyst with a Boutique valuation consulting firm working along diverse service lines including: Transaction Consulting, Turnaround & Restructuring Consulting, Fair Value, Litigation Support, and Business Appraisal Services. He also worked with a Capital firm providing sell-side and buy-side advisory services to small and mid-sized privately held companies, ranging from $1.0mm to $10mm EBITDA.

Mr. Bal has proven to be a top-performing analyst, working across all service lines, recognized for continual improvement and creative problem solving skills. Played roles of lead staff and support on over 150 engagements, highlighted case work detailed below. Actively participated in recruiting and training.
Worked alongside the practice lead to develop marketing materials and pitchbooks for sell-side engagements. Assisted buy-side clients in research and identification of potential targets for acquisition. Held series 79 and series 63.

He attended George Mason University earning a B.S. degree in Accounting, and a B.S. degree in Finance achieving an Overall GPA of 3.4/4.0. Additional achievements include passing CFA Level 2 exam in Jun. 2015 and Excel Model-Off Competitor (Competes annually in a global financial modeling competition against over 5,000 participants)


Joe McCoy

Senior Analyst

Joe McCoy brings over 18 years of Commercial Banking and Lending experience to provide Win Capital Group clients with top-level assessment of their specific needs, to promote development of effective solutions by the Win Capital team.

Joe has served as a Community Bank advisor to the FDIC where he performed extensive works in portfolio analysis, asset liquidation and receivership duties. Utilizing his FDIC experience, Joe has consulted to small and mid-size Community Banks in varying scopes concerning Capital Assessment, Regulatory Issues, Asset Acquisitions and long-term strategic planning in the rapidly changing banking environment.

Commencing in the late 80’s as a top-level Associate Branch Manager for the nation’s largest consumer finance company, Joe has served a variety of roles over the years as a Manager and Vice-President of consumer, construction and commercial lending divisions for both rural and urban community banks. With the revolutionary economic conditions, Joe successfully transitioned into Asset Management works where he gained invaluable experience in capital restructuring and asset liquidation.
As a complement to Joe’s banking career, he has also assisted companies towards increased growth and profitability in the Retail, Agriculture and Construction sectors, served as a Banking Instructor in multiple disciplines and as a financial advisor/administrator to Community Churches.


Lydia W. Biondo

Administration

In her role at Win Capital Group, LLC, Lydia is responsible for managing the office operations and administration.

Prior to joining Win Capital Group, Lydia was the Office Manager at EnVivo Pharmaceuticals located in Watertown, Massachusetts. There, she managed the office’s day to day operations, HR/benefits administration and provided support for senior management. Lydia has also worked for a Venture Capital firm headquartered in Boston as well as two global financial consulting firms. Lydia received a Bachelor of Science in Office Administration at Plymouth State University in Plymouth, New Hampshire.


P. Elliott Burnside

Industry Consultant

P. Elliott Burnside has over thirty years’ experience serving as a senior executive as well as directing financial, operational and manufacturing advisory and restructuring services, in a
variety of industries including light manufacturing, transportation, service, and construction. He has significant expertise in interim management positions, P&L leadership, assessments of functional areas, strategic planning, manufacturing practices, cash management, and order fulfillment and inventory management products. He is currently responsible for acting as an interim executive in CEO, CRO, or COO roles, operational assessments, and turnarounds and restructurings for middle market firms.

Mr. Burnside has an extensive background as both a consultant and owner-operator in operations improvements, reporting procedures, manufacturing processes, cost reductions, debt re-structuring and workouts including the following:

• CEO of a distressed natural gas field fabricator, plant erector, and pipeline construction company. A turnaround that included restructuring both debt and equity.
• Chief Restructuring Officer of a leading commercial printer. Major actions included expanded order fulfillment capability, inventory management, product offering and debt restructuring.
• Chief Restructuring Officer of a leading supplier of corrosion protection services that included managing the restructuring plan and assisting the Company with further identification of cost related improvements in order to enhance Company performance
• Led teams of advisors to multiple companies, in a variety of industries to perform collateral assessments on behalf of the lenders, for the purpose of debt restructuring or work out.
• Advisor to port authorities on the east coast on port and vessel operations, distribution center locations for stripping, import shipments, and repacking for domestic distribution
• International experience in Europe, Middle East, Central and South America, and Asia.

Burnside has held various senior level positions in the trucking industry including: President of Crowley American Transport; President & C.E.O., of BMI Transportation Inc.; and President & C.O.O., Jones Truck Line, Inc.


Adam Taylor

Web Development Analyst

Adam has a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Arts & Animation from the Art Institute of Colorado, which encompasses several fields of design such as Graphic, Web, Animation, Audio, and Video. While managing his own company, TaylorMadeAnimation, he uses his skills to create marketing solutions “Taylor Made” to his client’s needs. Other industries in which Adam has experience and is proficient in are Insurance, Telecommunications, Consumer Goods, and Retail.
